A factual lifestyle and entertainment network will see be available by July. A+E Networks TV18 ‘s new FYI TV18 will offer over 100 hours of multiple Hindi content monthly. The channel will be made available across DTH, digital and analogue cable platforms.
Despite already possessing History TV18, the broadcaster took this step to come with a new hindi speaking channel especially to better reach the mass. “FYI TV18 will build on A+E Networks’ philosophy of blending powerful international programming brands with home grown content at a scale that no other broadcaster can match” revealed the company.
The new brand will draw on content from its US parent History TV18. A+E Networks president, international and digital Sean Cohan revealed: “We are delighted that FYI TV18 will soon be available to Indian viewers. FYI has been a tremendously strong brand for us in the US, as the most upscale and fastest growing network in cable. India presents strong growth opportunities for A+E Networks’ global portfolio strategy and we’d like to replicate the success of History TV18 as well as other powerful global brands in our bouquet, starting with FYI TV18’”.
FYI TV18 will look to offer an adventurous and personalised approach to peoples’ taste, space, relationship, story and more.
